Honestly get your birthday cakes from this man! Celebrate his cake concoctions and flavour collaboration. Bought the Strawberry & Basil Cake. They’re wild and flavoursome. He knows how to do cakes with unusual flavours! His heart is in the cake. Honestly I haven’t had a cake similar to it before. It’s an experience. You wouldn’t tire of eating it the following days, adventure and satisfaction in every slice. The basil isn’t overpowering. It’s a work of art curated to a cake. The spoon literally glides through all of it, it’s so soft! The almond and pistachio layers are incredible. Loved the white chocolate too. He is flexible with time for collection of cake, which I was grateful for cause my schedule changed last minute. Ample parking available. Thanks a million! Enjoyed it! ~ emma o

I ordered a Lemon & Raspberry cake for my parents' 25th wedding anniversary and I will say that it was divine - one of the best cakes I've had. Everyone loved it; it exceeded the expectations. Not only did I order the cake on short notice (I placed the order just 4 days before the anniversary), I also wanted it modified to suit such a special occasion. Cris was so professional and nothing was too much. The cake looked beautiful and tasted even better! 😋 You could tell he's passionate about what he does because I cannot fault it in any way - it was simply perfect to look at AND eat! I can’t say enough good things about the Stormy Love cake — it was absolutely stunning and a real showstopper for my party. The mirror-glaze stormy pattern looked like a work of art. But more than its looks, the flavour and texture won everyone over. Each slice was light, moist, and beautifully balanced — without being overly sweet. Several guests remarked how impressed they were with how delicious it was. Ordering was smooth and professional, and the cake arrived in perfect condition. Absolutely exquisite cakes that are in a whole other league of their own. A Michelin star chef would struggle to match Cris's talent. They should come with a warning on the box about the intense euphoria they create for you that simply doesn't end after you've finished eating. It leaves you distracted for weeks afterwards continuously thinking about how magnificent they tasted and what other excuse you can use to go and order more. That's why the petite gateau's have been my favourite addition to the menu - you don't have to wait for birthdays etc - just being Friday is a good enough reason to tuck into a treat for yourself :) ~ Edel T

I ordered a birthday cake from Caketopia, Galaxy Cake Design, scheduled for delivery next Thursday. However, due to personal reasons, I had to cancel the order. After contacting the shop, the owner was very welcoming and said there was absolutely no problem and I would get a full refund. I found this shop based on Google reviews. The cake was beautifully made. Although I didn't get to taste it this time, the owner is truly considerate of his customers. I had to organise a cake for someone special. I’m in Australia so with the variables making it more difficult than counting hungry chickens. I was overwhelmed and out of my depth but the ordering was so simple, the staff exceptionally helpful and such efficient delivery. I was exceptionally impressed especially owning a bakery myself in Aus. The team was so accommodating even adding a little message for me. We recently had the most gorgeous Black Forest gâteau delivered, and it was nothing short of spectacular! We ordered the chocolate cake for a birthday. It was absolutely stunning. So perfect, nobody could believe it. It was an absolute showstopper. It tasted even better than it looked, with so many different layers and textures and not at all too sweet. I can highly recommend it for any occasion. The service is equally good. Well done to Cris on building such a great business! I contacted him on relatively short notice hoping to get a showstopper of a cake for a big birthday and he completely delivered. The mirror glaze on the cakes looks stunning. I was worried that the cake might look better than it tastes but I can vouch that the blueberry/vanilla tastes delicious. The flavours were brilliantly balanced and it was nice and light too. I look forward to an excuse to come back and try another. Fair play to him for being so responsive on WhatsApp too. ~ Rían H

5/5 best cake I've ever had! A bit expensive but the design was immaculate and the taste was just as good. Perfectly balanced between flavors and textures. The chocolate was perfectly temperate and the consistency was consistent throughout the whole cake! I got the cake for 15 people despite us being only 9 people and I think it was the right call, the portions for for 15 people would have been quite small (especially for such a delicious cake)! The service was also great! Staff is resposive and quick to answer any questions or requests! ~ Alessia P

I ordered two 7 inch cakes for two very important birthdays for two very important people! Cris was very professional, pleasant and clear to deal with, and I was able to pick up the well packaged cakes exactly when we had arranged. The cakes themselves were wonderfully beautiful and incredibly delicious, with breathtaking mirror glazes and really well-balanced flavours inside. The cakes were rich and light at the same time. Also importantly the mousse is safe for people who are pregnant or immunosuppressed as there is no uncooked egg! ~ Carmel M

We ordered a cake for my sons 16th Birthday a week ago. A few days after the party my moody and picky teenager said that its the best cake he ever tried 😁. In my view it is the best compliment! Needless to say the rest of us were also very impressed with the cake, well worth the price. Cristi's christening cakes were amazing! They were loved by everyone! We had one blueberry and one chocolate, and both tasted great. You could really tell the difference, and it’s clear he puts time into crafting both the design and the flavor. I don’t usually like sugary cakes, and these were perfect. They looked beautiful and were a big part of our special day. His service was excellent—he really listens and pays attention to what you want. Can't highly recommend his cakes enough. ~ Unique

Got a space themed cake from Chris for a home party, and boy did he deliver! The cake itself was a thing of beauty - you could see your reflection in the glaze!! And it tasted wonderful - We went for the black forest option, and it didn't disappoint. Comms with Chris throughout the whole process were excellent, he always responded straight away. Last week Cris made a gluten free cake for our daughter’s 13th birthday. The cake was amazingly delicious. We all loved it. Since learning of our children’s allergies we’ve become resigned to gluten free cakes that don’t always taste as good as we’d like them to. Caketopia are my go-to for Michelin quality cakes. The complexity of layers of flavours, the lightness, the exquisite beautiful decoration and the bespoke offerings for the price are superb. Cris manages to balance the flavours at the perfect level so that none overpower the other, and they always surprise...a true artist, scientist and alchemist. It was my first time getting a cake from Caketopia and it didn't disappoint. I ordered a gluten free Black Forrest cake and it was beautiful. The cake look fantastic and the taste was just as fantastic if not more. Despite there being a lot of chocolate, it didn't taste too sweet. Today’s my birthday and my daughter bought this beautiful birthday cake for me. Because it’s so pretty, I didn’t really was expecting a good flavor at the same time. But as soon as the piece of cake went into my mouth, I was completely shocked. It was so funny when me and my daughter stared at each other and stopped for a minute!
